The theme of this months box is inspired by the 'diversity and scope' of the beauty world. I like to support home-grown British brands where I can as I always find their ethical sourcing stories and ingredients so interesting and inspiring. However, the true beauty of a beauty box is being able to discover and experience new products that you may of never heard of before, thereby, discovering some real skin, hair and body care gems.

BIOEFFECT EGF SERUM - worth £25.00
Made in Iceland, this serum claims to help improve the appearance of your skin.
With only 7 key ingredients the first 3 are super hydrating; Glycerin, Water (aqua), and Sodium Hyaluronate. The actual EGF ingredient is using Barley Sholigopeptide-1. This is a plant based replica of EGF, a naturally occurring human protein.
It is an anti-ageing skincare product to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst providing intense repair to your skin while you sleep.
How to use
An evening treatment - apply 2-4 drops and smooth over face and neck area. No other product is required.
I will look to begin this treatment once I have finished my Retinol product in a couple of weeks time. interested to see the results as it has quite a hefty price tag!
SVR TOPIALYSE PALPEBRALE DRY & SENSITIVE EYELID CREAM - worth £15.00
A French brand with the philosophy of treating sensitive and fragile skin and how this specific skin concern can influence our emotions and well-being.
An anti-irritation cream formulated for the delicate eye contour and lid area. Can be used from the age of 3 years upwards.
A concentration of soothing and anti-irritation actives address irritated skin around the eyes. Glycyrrhizic acid derivative calms and soothes.
Cotton Oil, a source of omegas 3,6,9 paired with Hyaluronic acid soothe and restore the skins barrier function.
Babassu and shea butter also help to condition and restore functionality of skin barrier.
This could be an ideal product for those who suffer with hay fever symptoms and are prone to itchy, sensitive eyes.
How to use
Apply morning and evening to eye contour and eye lid area.
ECOOKING PEELING MASK - worth £11.10
Originating from a Danish 'beauty fiends kitchen' hence the name Ecooking, which relates to the combination of using 'eco' friendly and home 'cooked' ingredients to establish this brands identity. This is known as one of the brands 'hero' products. A fusion of exfoliating acids; Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid, cushioned in a base of skin loving Squalane and Vitamin E. This mask is said to remove dull skin cells, leaving your complexion smoothed with lines and wrinkles tightened and minimised over time.
How to use
Use once a week treatment
begin by applying to clean skin for approximately 4-6 minutes depending on your skin type. once the skin can tolerate the effects you may leave it on for between 10-12 minutes.
It will enhance reddening of the skin , so is recommended to use in the evenings. You may feel a tingling sensation upon application.
I have many masks that I have used that work in this way so I will look to do a comparison on my Instagram stories.
BUMBLE AND BUMBLE SURF SPRAY - worth £2.40
A cruelty free brand, originating from a salon in New York City, since 1977!
I have used products from this haircare brand before but not the award winning surf spray. I am inclined to pack this with me on my upcoming holiday to Italy.
With my fine hair this could prove a winner. Essentially a sea salt spray this will add volume and texture. Sea Kelp will also give added shine.
How to use
Spray on to dry or damp hair and twist sections of hair to enhance texture and wave.
KORRES NATURAL PURE GREEK SOAP - CHAMOMILE - worth £5.00
A Greek brand established by George and Lena Korres in 1996, with an intention of creating safe, clinically effective and affordable skin care products. Working with local communities and organic farmers.
These soap bars are available in a variety of natural fragrances and are inspired by beauty bathing rituals of Cretan women.
A glycerine based mild cleansing bar for face and body. Chamomile brings soothing and emollient qualities, while Almond oil conditions and moisturises.
How to use
Apply/massage bar into damp skin and rinse
FILORGA LIFT-STRUCTURE - worth £9.10
They are the 1st French laboratory of aesthetic medicine, since 1978.
This ultra-lifting cream results are said to be visible in just 7 days of applying to the skin. For smoother features and redefined volume this sounds like a wonder cream. Restoring tone and firmness to facial contours, such as cheekbones and neck.
With an extensive ingredient list of cell factors, collagen and hyaluronic acid it promises to deliver a complete anti-ageing effect.
How to use
Massage into your face and neck area daily morning and/or evening to achieve desired results. I am not sure if 7ml will last for 7 am and pm applications but I am intrigued to see results!
